About Dave Hansen Whitewater
Dave Hansen pioneered the first Jackson Hole commercial whitewater rafting operation on the Snake River in 1967, naming the two biggest waves on the river, the Lunch Counter and the Big Kahuna. For four decades, we have conducted scenic and whitewater float trips on Wyomings Snake River and this experience has given Dave Hansen Whitewater the abilty to give you one of the safest trips on the river.
The Hike and Paddle Package
Dave Hansen Whitewater and The Hole Hiking Experience (www.holehike.com) have teamed up to offer you the ideal day to see the Jackson Hole area: hike in the cool morning hours and float in the sunshine of the day. Spend the morning hiking some of the most beautiful areas of the Jackson Hole Valley with a naturalist guide from the Hole Hiking Experience. Your guide can take you on a scenic trip up the tram at Teton Village to spend the morning alpine hiking with spectacular valley views or into meadows of the valley that offer majestic views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
After your naturalist educates you on plants, wildlife and geological history of the area, it is then time to take your newfound knowledge to the Grand Canyon of the Snake River for your whitewater rafting adventure.
